I’ve had a significant amount of the garden turfed recently. It’s not a good time of year for doing that; it’s apparently better to do this in the spring or autumn. To counter that, I have to water the grass. A lot.

To help, I bought a sprinkler timer from Lidl. It has been surprisingly good, given that it was under £15. It reliably seems to switch the sprinklers on and off, just as it is meant to do.
