Like much of the rest of the country, I went out last night to try to photograph the Northern Lights. If proof were needed, this walk made it clear that Winter was rapidly approaching. How can that be? I’ve only just got used to writing “2024”!

Anyway, I think I probably wasn’t out at the best of the light show, though I was able to see this with the naked eye. Other people got far better shots than I did, I’ll just have to make do with what I got.

I did, at least, get to shoot a photo of the Northern Lights which also had a helicopter in the scene. You can see it just above the house on the right – flying along with its Night Sun blazing away. Wonder who they were looking for?
