2024-10-13 (Day 287) Callander House

In the centre of the town stands Callander House. Built on land that the Antonine Wall passed through when the Romans tried to rule this area, the house and the Forbes family who owned it featured heavily in the Scottish wars of independence. And now the house and its gardens are open to the public, with frequent art displays inside the building.

It’s a lovely place – well worth a visit!
