It was a cold day for a walk along the West Sands today, but a few hardy souls were making the trek. I was standing on the road that goes towards the beach, watching the waves break onto the beach. And then I noticed that when a wave hit the sea wall below me, it bounced off, running at right angles to those waves coming in to the shore further up the beach. It was an interesting pattern to watch.
