I took Tess for a walk along the Blackbraes path today, and there was a merest dusting of snow covering the path. I found I liked it because it’s a sort-of halfway point – maybe even a tenth-of-the-way point between clear and snowy. Fully snowy pictures give us some form of monochrome wonderland of eerie, unfamiliar landscapes. Here we see the way the path normally looks, just with a slight alteration. Nothing too far out of the ordinary, just enough to be different from the “normal” view.
And… not as slippery!
