Cameron Bridge station was originally closed in 1969, but a new version of the station opened in January 2024, and is one of the newest stations on the Scottish Railway network. There is normally one train per hour to Edinburgh, and the journey time is approximately an hour.
To the right is a footbridge connecting the station to Methilhill. Moments after the train had left a runner came along the bridge – now if he had been there while the train was arriving the picture would have been much better, but sadly that was not to be!
