I found myself in Stirling today, and used the moment for Photo Of The Day.

This was taken from Cultenhove Road, looking pretty much due north. In the foreground, the rooftops of Stirling, in particular Torbrex and St Ninians. Beyond that, you can see Abbey Craig, leading up to the famous Wallace Monument – completed in 1869. And beyond that, the Ochils, climbing from left to right and the summit of Dumyat towards the right-hand (eastern) edge of the picture.

The clouds were low over the hills today, at times hiding the peaks of Dumyat and the Neb. But hey, it was a nice summer while it lasted!
