2025-08-02 (Day 214) Final Obstacle

And that was it. Today it was time for a long drive home. At least this time – unlike last year – I didn’t have COVID. Unforrtunately Marie did get COVID while I was away.

This was the final obstacle before getting home – the Avon Gorge which separates the Glasgow-Edinburgh corridor from Falkirk at this point. Looking north-east here, you can just about see the radio towers atop Dunfermline’s Knock Hill in the distance. Closer to that the gorge is looking stunning in all its summer finery.
