The West Pitkierie Doocot is an octagonal structure, probably dating from around the latter half of the 1700s. It would have been built to house pigeons that would have been used for food for the estate.

It’s curious – the iPhone assured me that I was holding the phone level (i.e. horizontal) and while I admit barrel distortion exists, I’ve never been aware of it causing significant issues like this on the 2x zoom setting at distance. So this looks to me light the leaning tower of Pitkierie!
