I’ve often said that it would be really hard to live in Stirling and not be a Scottish Nationalist. Stirling is a city that lies between, and slightly to the north of, Glasgow and Edinburgh, and is historically the centre of the Scottish battle to be separate from England.
Here, in Stirling, is a statue of Scottish folk hero Rob Roy McGregor – a man whose romanticised exploits have had him portrayed as a Scottish version of Robin Hood.
This was planed to be taken with the SLR and have a nice blurred background, but technical problems got in the road…
