
On the way to work this morning, I was cursing myself out for driving along a very narrow, untreated, snow and ice covered road when I saw this view.
With some trepidation I pulled the car into a farm entranceway and took the picture. That only left the question of whether I would be able to get the car over the slight rise and back onto the road.
Luckily, that worked and I continued on to work.
In the picture, the distant Ochills now have a good covering of snow. The flare from Grangemouth looks a bit incongruous, poking through the fog that envelops Polmont itself. Closer, we see a field that may soon become part of a major retail and housing development, if the developers manage to get funding for their plans
