Dundee Ice Skating Club may be Scotland’s highest-standard figure skating club, with skaters at all standards up to and including team members for Sochi 2014. Today was the club’s annual show – Aladdin on Ice.

I had taken the Sony NEX-5, which was a shame – the 5D would have done a much better job. But this was one of the better photos – it shows Aladdin (played by Rosanna Bailey) and the Princess (Karly Robertson), both winners of multiple national and international figure skating competitions.

I hope to process more of these pictures from today and post them on my Flickr account, but I had a great time, and both enjoyed and was amazed by the entire event. A huge "well done" to everyone involved!
