Right Brain: that skating looked so amazing yesterday, I want to learn to do that

Left Brain: don’t be daft. You’re 47, you have the grace and elegance of a drunken hippopotamus

Right Brain: yeah, but it looks such fun

Left Brain: you’re training for a marathon – how can you possibly fit that in too?

Right Brain: well, I’ve booked it, so there’s nothing you can do about it now.

So I start ice skating lessons on 12th January 2014. What could possibly go wrong?
