On the way back from Linlithgow this evening I thought I would try another night-time HDR. It half-worked – I like the Christmas Card feel that the picture has – but I definitely have a lot more learning to do.

What made it harder was that the pub is on quite a busy road, so it was difficult to take the three required shots. So I bumped up the ISO – and as you can see, that resulted in vastly increased grain.

So I shall try to find somewhere that it illuminated, but has no traffic, and run it all at ISO50. Hmm….
