Having seen some photos posted from Westquarter Glen recently, I wondered whether there was a decent HDR to be had there. So at lunchtime I popped down to the Glen to see what I could do.
The water levels are a lot lower than last time I was there, reflecting our dry summer and autumn. But that gave us a beautifully still pond just after the waterfall, which reflects the fall itself rather nicely… The surrounding trees are showing that winter is on its way, but for now the October sunshine is making them look a wonderful warm golden colour. Next time I am here, though, I guess they will be pretty much bare.
