Marie and Jenni went to see Disney on Ice at the Hydro this evenig, Cameron and I went bowling nearby.

It was interesting to think about the bowling alley and how it worked. You now have a lane hostess who comes along and gets your names bashed into the scoring computer immmediately. She takes your drinks order too, so you don’t need to waste time by going to the bar. The music is loud and fast, the pin lift / put down and the ball return much faster than I remember them too.

All this is because time is, quite literally, money in these places. So they want you to get through your game as quickly as possible.

Manipulation aside, we had a great evening, and so did the girls 🙂
