
Storm Isha came to visit today. She brought some pretty strong winds, causing quite a lot of damage. The roof of one of our neighbours’ conservatory has had two panes of glass blown out, that can’t be much fun.
One way we benefit from that is, of course, in our energy generation. I took this photo when I was out for a lunchtime walk with the dog – at this point Scotland’s electricity generation was using only 1.4% fossil fuels – 8g of CO2 per kWh of electricity.
So I guess it’s… errr… an ill wind that blows nobody any good
