This morning, I awoke to an ice-covered windscreen on the car. But this wasn’t the normal frost that comes off easily with the scraper – this was a super-thin, profoundly opaque layer that had been attached with a combination of Super Glue, Araldite and rivets!

But… it did make pretty patterns when viewed from the inside. While I waited for the ice to clear.

And waited. And waited.
