It looks as if the Union Canal at Reddingmuirhead is closed to navigation today.

The right of this picture is the north side of the canal, and beyond the towpath is Tesco. On the left, the southern side, the prison.

It looks as if the tree has brought up a huge section of the ground it stands on, I do wonder how secure that walkway is right now.

As for the canal itself, I wonder how much traffic there normally is on it in chilly February? Probably more than I would expect…
