These little spacers were bought to try to prevent the doors in our house from rattling in the breeze. They arrive as a bunch of little slightly-squishy self-adhesive plastic pieces on a waxed plastic backing strip, you just peel ‘em off and stick them to your door frame.

But was well as working really well to stop the doors rattling, I just love the way they look before they are peeled off the carrier. The clear plastic catches and bends the light and you get these great repeating shapes – the back window clearly visible, warped into the shape of the plastic pad.

Also, taking a picture of these meant that I didn’t need to go out in the cold and the rain!
