This view was taken from the car park of the Grangemouth Golf Course, and I rather liked the sandwich of green trees and in the foreground, the Ochils in the background, and the intrusive man-made sight of the oil refinery in between.
Of course, neither the foreground nor the background is what you would call “natural”. It may not be as man-made as the chimneys and cooling towers, but there is nothing here that has not had its appearance altered by man over the years.
But yeah, if you asked me where I would want to go for a walk then the Ochils have it all over the refinery, every time!
