This installation is called Natural Cycle, and is by a Kent-based sculptor called William Jordan. From what I can find out it was installed in 2014. It sits outside the Brake Brothers warehouse in at Newhouse in Lanarkshire – but that’s about all I have been able to find out about it.

Back when I was working for Agilent I was coming home through the village of South Queensferry. A pub called The Moorings was taking a delivery of food, but the delivery truck had rolled back and into a house. The van, of course, was from “Brake Brothers” – ironic when the brakes were clearly not working…
