This statue by Alan Herriot was commissioned by the Fishermen’s Memorial Association to recognise the lives lost and the hardships endured by the East Neuk’s fishing communities. I took this photograph because I really liked the status in the foreground and the warmth of the sky lit by the setting sun in the background
