I visited Byres Road for the first time in a while. It’s changed since I last was there. I mean, of course it has. Byres Road is always changing. But the council seems to be pursuing its goal of making it ever harder to use the road, forcing the traffic to go slower in lower gears, hang around for longer in narrower lanes and belch out ever more fumes.

Still, it was nice to go back!
