There is a stretch of road just outside my office that sometimes floods. It is a bit of a dip, there is a burn runs under the road at that point and it collects the run-off from several nearby fields.

And almost every time it floods, someone tries to drive through it and their car gets stuck.

That happened a couple of days ago, I think. The road is still closed and the car is there, waiting to be recovered. It must be horrible for the owner.

But what got me today was the amount of muck that is left on the road – it is filthy and will have to be cleaned up before the road can open again.

Yuck!
